+ Very tough, well-built pack with a waterproof and roomy main compartment. We like the pack’s clean design, while the simple back panel is well-ventilated. It’s also hydration-compatible and lightweight.
- The hip belt is thin and not very supportive. It keeps the pack in place but doesn’t transfer any weight to the hips and it isn’t as comfortable as other body-hugging designs. This pack is only available in one back length and is not adjustable, making it better suited for walkers with shorter torsos.
VERDICT: A durable and robust unisex pack, built for climbing but with crossover appeal for walkers thanks to its versatile design. We love the waterproof main compartment and heavyweight fabric construction.
