North Devon Group Holdstone Down Aug 2014v2.jpg

Group name: North Devon

This group is a part of Devon Area.

Telephone:
01271 376 274
Our activities include:
Short and easy walks

The Group are very friendly and will make you welcome!

We produce a comprehensive walks programme twice a year which also includes some social events. some of our walks are "themed" and may be led by someone with a particular interest in flowers; fauna or local history. Go to the Walks Programme tab below to view our current walks. You are welcome to try us out for three walks to see if rambling is for you! If you like the experience we would hope that you would then join the Ramblers Association.

This is to remind everyone that the A39 from Shirwell to Blackmoor Gate is closed to traffic until possibly the end of March. An alternative route should be taken if attending walks which may require you to use that route normally.

The walks offered by our Group are varied in distance and varied in the days we walk on.

We offer some evening walks in the Spring and Summer.

Once a month we offer a "Nice & Easy" walk designed to be at a gentle pace and an introduction to walking with a Group.

Some of our walks involve using public transport to enable a linear route to be followed.

View-download our Winter 17/Spring 18 walks Programme.

There is only TWO WEEKS to the deadline for the Summer edition of our Walk Programme. If you have secured a date and still have your walk details to finalise the cut off date is March 1ST.Please submit on time so I can begin to bring it all together.

Many thanks Angela
