North Devon Group Holdstone Down Aug 2014v2.jpg

Group name: North Devon

This group is a part of Devon Area.

Telephone:
01271 376 274
Our activities include:
Short and easy walks

The walks offered by our Group are varied in distance and varied in the days we walk on.

We offer some evening walks in the Spring and Summer.

Once a month we offer a "Nice & Easy" walk designed to be at a gentle pace and an introduction to walking with a Group.

Some of our walks involve using public transport to enable a linear route to be followed.

The Group are very friendly and will make you welcome!

We produce a comprehensive walks programme twice a year which also includes some social events. some of our walks are "themed" and may be led by someone with a particular interest in flowers; fauna or local history. Go to the Walks Programme tab on the right to view our latest walks. You are welcome to try us out for 2-3 walks to see if rambling is for you! If you like the experience we would hope that you would then join the Ramblers Association.

Help needed!

At our recent AGM our Publicity Officer Julian did not stand for re-election having served the Group enthusiastically for over eight years since November 2007. There is a role description you can view or download here. If you think you can help or would like to know more about anything in connection with committee volunteering please contact me. Our contact details are on the Group Contacts page.
