Edale to Hope

A linear walk from Edale to Hope. We head out of Edale up Grindsbrook clough and over Kinder Scout to Kinder Downfall. We then join the Pennine Way towards Jacobs ladder and up over the moors onto the Pennine Bridleway where we head for the great ridge over Mam Tor and Lose Hill then down into Hope.

Grindsbrook clough is steep and rocky and the path over Kinder Scout isn’t obvious so will require some peat bog/trench hopping. Please be prepared for that and wear good boots. Also please be aware we may end up finishing in the dark if we don’t keep a reasonable pace. The paths at the end are good but it would be advisable to bring a torch just in case.
