Ramblers Routes is an online library of nearly 2,000 inspiring routes for walkers to follow.
Our growing online collection includes everything from short urban strolls through to challenging hillside walks for more experienced walkers.
Each route features a choice of digital maps, including Ordnance Survey Landranger and Explorer maps, with the option to print the route and download GPX data.
Routes include detailed directions so you won’t get lost, plus points of interest and advice on how to get to the starting point. The elevation profile on each route also tells you if there are any hills or steep inclines on your walk.
All Ramblers Routes less than 3 miles are free to access – simply register online and you can search all of our short walks immediately. Register now to start exploring.

The best thing about Ramblers Routes is that they’re designed for walkers by walkers. Every route has been developed by one our experienced volunteers and doubled-checked on the ground by a secondary route checker before it’s given our stamp of approval.
Our online library allows you to easily search for routes by location or postcode. Switch to advanced search mode and you can add keywords, filter by walk length or difficulty, and alternate between a map or list view. It couldn’t be easier.
