Richmond is a Norman town on the edge of the northern Yorkshire Dales, just off the A1 at Scotch Corner. Richmondshire district covers Swaledale and Wensleydale with key settlements including Leyburn, Hawes, Reeth, Middleham and Catterick.
Our group organises regular walks within our spectacular local countryside including the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors national parks as well as Teesdale, Nidderdale and the North Pennines.
We are a friendly group of walkers who are always pleased to welcome new members and visitors to the area. Being based in Richmondshire we have access to some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK.
Most of our walks start from a point less than one hour's drive from Richmond and many are considerably closer than this. Our walks vary in terrain and difficulty, ranging from 5 to 14 miles.
