Start location Butley Corner car park, off the B1084 (TM350502)
Route Summary An early glimpse of Butley Priory leads onto sandy paths, happy pigs and graceful pines. But the real stars of this walk are the 700-year-old oaks of Staverton Thicks. Their short, hoary trunks conjure up dramatic and grotesque masks.
