Though the weather was poor that day, I decided to undertake the walk because the weather forecast predicted that the following days were going to be even worse. Unfortunately, even taking account of the poor weather conditions, I cannot understand why this walk is being promoted for its it's strength in signage. The first problem was the pile of flint stones. These were not positioned against any path through a field. Once I re-located myself on White Horse Hill, there were not any SDR waymarks to be found. I had to abort the walk once I realised that I was coming near Weymouth. Fortunately, I ended up on the bus route that I took to arrive at Broadmayne. Sadly, for the organisers, the weather changed for the following day with sun but I used this day for walking between Hardy's Cottage and Max Gate!!
