came into effect.

Reform (Scotland) Act 2003
Ramblers Scotland
took a leading role in the development of land reform legislation
in Scotland which came into effect on 9th February 2005. The Land Reform
(Scotland) Act 2003 establishes a statutory right of responsible
access and is accompanied by the Scottish Outdoor Access
Code.

Outdoor Access Code
The new Scottish Outdoor Access
Code provides guidance on responsible behaviour for recreational
users and land managers. It was approved by the Scottish
Parliament on 1 July 2004 and published on 9th February 2005.
