The new Ramblers website is here!

We hope you’ll find the website easy to use but just in case you can’t find what you’re looking for we’ve created a user guide to help you covering some of our key content and features.

If you’d like to make a comment about the website visit our feedback form to have your say. Ramblers volunteers wishing to comment on the Volunteer Zone can use our dedicated Volunteer Zone feedback form.

What do you want to do?

Go walking

• Go on a Ramblers group walk - search for walks by location in our new Go walking section or visit our Find a walk page for further search options.
• Find a local Ramblers group - you can search for local walking groups within our Groups Finder (there are also handy links to Find a group in our new Go walking and Become a member sections).
• Find a walking route - search for routes by location in our new Go walking section – you’ll need to be registered on the website to view the routes in full.
• Get walking information and advice - browse the information categories in our new Go walking section for articles on walking topics from footwear to footpath law.
• Find walking accommodation - search the Ramblers Directory for walker-friendly places to stay (it’s also signposted in our Go walking section – just follow the link to Find walking accommodation).
• Find walking events - search for an event near you in our new Events Calendar.
• Get the latest walking news - keep up to date with all the latest walking news in our revamped News section.
• Borrow a map - request a map online in our new Members area – you’ll need to be a member to use our map hire service.

Help support our work

• Report a footpath or access problem - use our report a footpath or access problem form.
• Find out about our latest campaigns - read about our latest campaigns and see how you can get involved in our new Campaign with us section.
• Volunteer for the Ramblers - find out about volunteering for us and the latest opportunities in our new Volunteer section (part of our new Support us section).
• Get information for my volunteering role - head to our new Volunteer Zone which includes the latest news for volunteers and resources to help you carry out your role.
• Donate to the Ramblers - make a donation online or discover other ways to give in our new Support us section.
• Find out about Ramblers membership - our new Become a member section includes information on the different types of membership available and the benefits of joining.
• Join the Ramblers - use our new joining form.
• Renew membership - renew your membership online (you’ll find a useful link in our new Become a member section too)
• Update membership details - you can update your details online in our new Members area – you’ll need to register before you can update your profile.

• Sign up to the Ramblers e-newsletter - you can sign up for our flagship e-newsletter, which will include content tailored to your region if you're a Ramblers member, and other emails on our newsletter sign up page
• Find out more about the Ramblers - our new What we do section includes information on our work to promote walking and protect and expand the places we walk or you could visit our revamped About us section to find out about how we’re run, the history of the Ramblers and to meet our staff and trustees.
• Find out about our position on walking issues - read our policy statements in our new What we do section.
• Find out about Ramblers Scotland and Ramblers Cymru - we now have dedicated microsites for Ramblers Scotland and Ramblers Cymru – follow the links to Scotland and Wales/Cymru in the header to find out more about what we do in these countries.
• Get in contact with us - take a look at our Contact us page to find the contact details you need.
• Work with the Ramblers - you’ll find information about partnering opportunities and how to advertise with us in our new Working with us section (part of our new Support us section).
