Friday 4 - Monday 7 May 2018 in Perth
All Ramblers members in Scotland are invited to attend our annual volunteer-led walking festival, The Gathering, in beautiful Perth this May.
An exciting programme of walks has been put together by local members with many years of experience of exploring this lovely area of Scotland.
The walks will take in the varied countryside of east Perthshire, Tayside and north Fife on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning, before people head home at Monday lunchtime.
The main festival ‘hub’ will be The Station Hotel on Leonard Street in Perth, which will be the departure/return point for the walks. The hotel will also host the evening entertainment throughout the weekend.
For the first time, there will be gentle ‘stroller’ walks this year, led by our former convener Jim Lawson and visiting local historical points of interest at a slower, more relaxed pace.
More details about the event programme will be published in March, along with information about how to register for individual walks.
How to book:
The event costs £20 per person - covering transport to/from walks, plus the evening entertainment.
