Our annual conference, held in Liverpool at the weekend, was an opportunity to celebrate successes, debate walking and outdoor issues and hear from special guests as well as enjoy the walking opportunities on offer around the city.

The winners of our President’s Volunteer Awards were unveiled during our annual General Council at the weekend. Presented by Ramblers President Kate Ashbrook and Maria Eagle MP, the awards celebrated achievements including keeping paths clear, leading health walks and promoting the Ramblers.

A footpath on the outskirts of Lincoln has finally been restored after being covered by a large area of water. The 'pond' was impossible to get around and meant the path had been unusable since 2005.
