The Walsall Ramblers were presented with the Cannock Chase AONB Volunteer of the Year Award last week for their efforts to clear vegetation from the area and create local walks for people to further enjoy what is a unique pocket of the Staffordshire countryside.

The Ramblers Trafford Group are celebrating the opening of a previously blocked footpath linking the town of Urmston to the coast-to-coast Trans Pennine Trail and the River Mersey with a walk on Saturday 10 August.
