Celebrities get walking in South London!
| Many South Londoners already keep fit by enjoying the city on foot -- including the celebrity South Londoners who are supporting our Get Walking Keep Walking project. We asked the celebs to share their favourite London walks with us. |
| Comedian Jo Brand (right) says "A favourite little meander is the well loved Lordship Lane in Dulwich. A balance of slight incline and flat, and a bit of a climb up the top end, but joyous for the fund of distractions, the colour and variety, and the persuasive aroma of the kebab shop just at the end!" |
 | TV presenter Floella Benjamin OBE (left) says "My favourite place to walk is along the Embankment from Westminster to the Tower of London, because I discover the old and the new London. Keep fit and feel proud of this great city!". |
| Comedy actor June Whitfield CBE (right) says "Wimbledon Common is a great place for a walk, but so is walking around the shops - even if it's window shopping!" |
 | Former EastEnder Patsy Palmer (left) says: "My favourite place to go for a walk in London is Hampstead Heath with my kids. Keep on walking!" |
