Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Great Britain except employees (and their families) of The Ramblers, its partners and agents, the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the competition. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. Only one entry allowed per person. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void. Entries made with drone cameras are not eligible to win.
Competition structure
The competition will close at 23:59 on Sunday 8 September 2024. Entries received after this deadline will not be accepted.
No responsibility is accepted for network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict or delay the sending of your entry. No responsibility is accepted by The Ramblers for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or which cannot be entered for technical or other reasons.
Following the closure of the competition, The Ramblers staff will shortlist entries. Shortlisted entries will then be assessed by a panel of judges to create a list of 8 finalists. The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final.
These finalists will be put to a public vote, which will run from Monday 23 September 2024 until 23:59 on Sunday 6 October. The finalist with the highest number of public votes will be named the winner. In the event of an exact tie, the winner will be chosen by the head judge.
Only one vote per person will be counted towards the final result. Multiple votes from the same person, even if submitted, will not be considered.
We cannot accept entries which do not provide an email address as we will not be able to inform the winner, should they be successful.
The winner will be announced before 31 October 2024. The winner will be contacted privately in the first instance, before an announcement will be made publicly on The Ramblers’ website, social media and email channels and may be included in news coverage. This announcement will include the name of the winner and their successful entry. By submitting an entry to the competition, you are agreeing to the publication of your name at The Ramblers’ discretion.
