Cambridge group welcomes people of all ages who enjoy walking and the countryside. Our walks are typically in Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties. We normally walk on most Saturdays and many Mondays. Our walks are led by our members. You will be very welcome to try our walks.
As well as walking we are actively involved in local rights of way and planning matters, including:
- monitoring the network of public paths in South Cambs. District and Cambridge City, and reporting problems to the County Council
- responding to proposals for changes to rights of way and making suggestions for improvement
- providing input on Local Plans and Planning Applications
- helping local councils with footpath clearance on a voluntary basis.
