Project Manager Volunteer Portal

Walks Officer

This is an exciting role where you will support Ramblers volunteers to deliver services which help people enjoy the benefits of walking, whether they are first time walkers or experienced hikers; whether they want to walk independently or in a group; or to walk in our towns and cities or in our countryside and wild lands.
This role will be responsible for providing help, guidance and support to volunteers, and coordinating closely with Ramblers Cymru and Ramblers Scotland to support volunteers across Great Britain to deliver consistent services for walkers.

Senior Fundraiser

Join Britain’s biggest walking charity to help more people enjoy the benefits of walking.

We are looking for a highly skilled multi-disciplinary Senior Fundraiser, initially for a 12-month fixed term role. This is a senior officer level role where you will be expected to provide vital support to the Fundraising team on key activities and projects. The primary objectives will be; supporting, through Partnership Management, key accounts such as People’s Postcode Lottery, supporting Researching & New Business Development across both Corporate and Trust/Foundation fundraising, supporting the Individual Giving and Legacy Manager on appeals/campaigns and the production of fundraising and stewardship materials.

They will also work with the Head of Fundraising to conduct in-depth analysis of the Ramblers existing and prospective donor base and lead on scoping out/researching other fundraising opportunities such as Community and Challenge Event Fundraising, Major Donor Fundraising and Event Fundraising and leading on projects to testing new activities and approaches where appropriate.

Individual Giving and Legacy Manager

This position is part of the Memberships and Fundraising division reporting to the Head of Fundraising. The Membership and Fundraising division is responsible for attracting and retaining members and supporters and generating the vast majority of the Ramblers income – essential for the delivery of our mission and the health and sustainability of the charity. The division was formed in September 2017, to bring the membership and fundraising teams together as one united team, to more effectively grow our community of members and supporters – and associated income. This is an exciting time to join the Ramblers team and a great opportunity to make a lasting and tangible impact on the future success of the charity.

Salary: £36,000 - £44,000 p.a. (depending on experience)
