Along the Kirkcaldy-Auchtertool core path, via Balwearie Castle and the old railway, to Newbigging. Then a short way down road U034 to the Tiel Burn. Alongside the burn, eventually rejoining the old railway but continuing on this to Balwearie golf course then back via Balwearie golf club to Beveridge Park. Tracks, paths and field edges.

Towards Blairadam past North Blair, then down to pick up the track and road to Flockhouse and Ryebog, along the foot of Cowden Hill. Up onto Nivingston Craigs and along the crest, then down to cross the burn at Chapman’s Grave. Cross the fence onto the Loch GLow - Cleish road (U218). A short way along this a gate gives access to Nivingston Hill. Then back to and along U218 to the track leading straight back via Cowden Woods to MAryburgh. Tracks, paths, some grassy hillside and some road.
