It is essential that if you are attending this walk, you let the leader know in advance in case travel details alter or the walk has to be cancelled for any reason.A linear 10 mile walk from West Ham Tube station, we walk along the Greenway and through the streets of London to Newham City Farm and the Royal Victoria Gardens to the Woolwich Foot tunnel. We then go mainly along the side of the Thames past the Thames Barrier and O2 to North Greenwich where we catch the Jubilee line back to London Bridge and train home from there. There is an option to leave the walk at the Woolwich foot Tunnel ( at the 5-6 mile point) . You then catch a train from the Woolwich Arsenal back to London Bridge. This walk will be a leisurely pace and it is likely to finish around 5-6 p.m meaning we will be arriving home around 8 p.m. A packed lunch is recommended.Train Details ( these may alter - please keep checking). You will need a Thameslink travelcard.9.25 from Brighton ( also calling at Preston Park, Hassocks( cheap parking), Haywards Heath etc arriving London Bridge at 10.44. We then catch the Jubilee Line to West Ham arriving 11.10.
You must not attend this walk if you develop any of the symptoms of Coronovirus or come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for Coronovirus.

A circular walk from Lewes initially climbing east up the northern edge of Mount Caburn (ca. 135m high). Then descending north east and north to the east of Ringmer and then north west to picnic lunch stop at Barcombe Mills after ca. 6.5miles. Returning to Lewes after lunch via Sussex Ouse Valley Way.
Catch the train leaving Brighton at 10.17, arrives Lewes 10.34. Free parking at Lewes Football Club near the station.

An undulating five mile circular walk from Castle Hill car park around Castle Hill Nature Reserve with some hilly sections.
Catch the #22 bus from Churchill Square (stop H) at 17.50 which arrives at the Downs Hotel pub at 18.18. A 10 minute walk from the pub to the start point.

This is a slightly longer walk than usual - 8.5 miles. Starting from Woodingdean we walk the ridge of Pleasant Bottom and continue to Rottingdean. From Kipling Gardens we take the path to Hog Plat until we reach the Windmill ridge.This wooded area has exposed tree roots - watch out! We descend into Ovingdean and follow the route to the church.There is a steepish ascent before we head towards Woodingdean and back to the car park. Local historian James Simister will be adding information and colour to the walk.

A pleasant Wealden walk, going east from the old West Grinstead railway station to Belmoredean, then north past Little Champions Farm and High Hurst Manor. From there over to Coffs Copse, Elliots Farm and Gt Steed Farm before taking the Downs Link back to the start.

A downland walk with some great views from Saltdean Vale, passing the Monument, towards Standean Bottom, Balsdean Cottages.

This a 9 mile circular walk from Emsworth rail station, walking across the slipper ponds and farm land to Thorney Island. We then follow the coast around the island and back to the start point. A completely flat, but rather exposed walk with no toilets or refreshments en route. It is essential to bring suitable weather gear, a packed lunch and water. There will ne plenty of bird watching opportunities and there may be some seals.
