Photo competition

We are please to announce the winner and runners up for the Ramblers' first urban photo competition. 

Winning photo

Congratulations go to Amanda Maister, with her fantastic photo, taken in Granary Square, London.  Amanda shows how easily people can enjoy walking in an urban public space. 

Amanda won a Fjällräven rucksack, kindly donated by Cotswold Outdoor. Well done Amanda!

The photographs from the two runners up David and Brenda, featuring Cardiff Bay (top) and Brighton lanes (bottom) also show how good urban design and use of public space can be achieved to benefit walkers. Brenda and David received £50 vouchers to spend in Cotswold Outdoors.
