What lengths would you go to in order to help promote the benefits of walking? Do good and feel great by setting your own Rambling challenge or take part in one below. You might want to climb a mountain, walk 10,000 steps a day, run a marathon or simply get together with friends and family and arrange a trek to support our work – whatever will motivate you and boost your wellbeing. It’s your challenge, so make it your own.

Take a look at the range of treks that you can join below, see the trail series Race to the Stones, King or Tower to combine historical routes, breath-taking scenery and hearty trekking. 

Whatever you choose to do, your support and hard work will help us continue our work to protect and maintain the places we all love to go walking.

Race to the King

Race to the king logoRace to the King is the stunning South Downs walk, jog or run, taking you from Arundel to the magnificent Winchester Cathedral. 

Along the stunning South Downs Way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Ancient Weald of Southern England and the Queen Elizabeth Country Park.  

This is a challenge for all, inclusive of all ages, experience and fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, patient plodder or weekend walker – choose to camp over the weekend or take on the full distance in one go.

You’ll be inspired with every step you take. 

What’s included?

  • Training programme tailored to all levels
  • Fully signposted route, with regular rest stops
  • Hot meals, showers, drinks and sports nutrition
  • Bag transport to the finish 
  • Free personal event photos uploaded on Facebook

Dixons Carphone Race to the Stones

Dixons Carphone Warehouse Race the the stones logoTake part in Race to the Stones, one of the UK’s biggest long distance treks or runs, on the Ridgeway - Britain’s oldest path. 100km is all that stands in your way, as you walk, jog or run to the historic Avebury Stone Circle.

Enjoy the stunning British countryside from the Chilterns to the North Wessex Downs, passing Bronze Age hill forts and Roman river crossings.

HEINEKEN Race to the Tower

Heineken Race to the tower logoConquer the Cotswolds and take on HEINEKEN Race to the Tower in June! 

From quaint idyllic villages to medieval burial grounds, the Cotswold Way will take you all the way to the foot of the magnificent Broadway Tower. 

The highlights are endless, rich with 13th Century ruins and modern day film locations. The yellow, Jurassic Cotswold stone will pave the way, as you pass castles and the famous Cooper’s Hill en route.

This is a challenge for all, inclusive of all ages, experience and fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, patient plodder or weekend walker – choose to camp over the weekend or take on the full distance in one go.
