Register for Ramblers Scotland’s Gathering 2025
The Gathering is a chance to meet Ramblers from across Scotland in Rhu in spring 2025
We are really excited to announce that our popular volunteer-led walking festival, the Gathering, will return in 2025.
The 35th Scottish Ramblers Gathering will be held in Rhu near Helensburgh from Friday 25 to Monday 28 April.
It feels extra special this time around, as 2025 is also the year that Ramblers Scotland celebrates our 60th birthday.
Registration
Each person who wants to attend should register using this form, which also includes details about booking accommodation.
Like in previous years, we have reserved early booking of accommodation for three quarters of our expected guests for the weekend.
Guest numbers for registration are capped at 120, to ensure that we can offer daily transport and keep the group walks feeling safe and enjoyable.
We have chosen Rhu, a beautiful location, due to its good transport links and its interesting range of new walks in an area the Gathering has not been held before.
We will have exclusive use of Rosslea Hall Hotel in Rhu over the weekend, and it will act as the hub for all activities.
The programme
We look forward to a terrific long weekend of walks, socialising and entertainment at Rhu.
A band has been booked for the Ceilidh on Saturday and other entertainment options will be revealed shortly.
We look forward to seeing you there,
The Gathering Working Group
Out There Award
The Out There Award offers outdoors skills and confidence to young adults who otherwise may not feel that walking outdoors was for them.
