Aeolia and Blackmill Gardens, Kilsyth

Aeolia and Blackmill gardens are across from each other and both are members of Scotland’s Gardens Scheme. The owners of Aeolia are members of the Scottish Rhododendron Society and have a collection of over 100 specimens.

Blackmill House has extensive grounds with the Garrell Burn running through a wooded valley with all sorts of nooks and crannies to explore. There are plenty of places to sit and tea, coffee and home baking will be on offer.

The fee, which includes entrance to both gardens, is £7 of which 60%  goes to Strathcarron Hospice with the rest to other charities such  as Maggie's.

It is intended that the parking will be at Colzium with a short walk to the gardens (weather permitting). Please wear walking shoes as some paths are uneven.

Open to members of Strathkelvin Ramblers only.
To book please contact Christine Pacione or Ann Martin by 27th May
