We are Herts Weekend Walkers, HWW for Short . We are aimed at people aged in their 40s, 50s & 60s who are normally working during the week and can usually only find time to get outside and enjoy a walk at the weekend.
The HWW annual Challenge Day Walk is a 20 mile walk, this year starting and ending in the Hertfordshire village of Weston. It comprises of four linked walks or 'petals', allowing people to complete the whole walk or any number of the individual components:
Petal 1 - 5 miles via Gravely starting at 9am
Petal 2 - 5 miles via Dane End starting at 11am
Petal 3 - 5.5 miles via Halls Green starting at 1.45pm
Petal 4 - 4.5 miles via Hickman's Hill starting at 4.15pm
All walks will start from the car park of the Cricketers PH, Weston, SG4 7DA
