We are the Ynys Mon Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Start at 1000: Port Penrhyn, Bangor, please car share as parking is limited
Suggest car park for car sharing (0945): Beach Road (Bangor, LL57 1BU); if coming from town use entrance just after BP filling station as part of the car park is closed.
We will walk on the newish section of Wales Coast Path which avoids a big detour around Penrhyn Castle, and is actually on the coast.

19km (12 miles) 390m (1,300ft) 6½ hrs (North Wales Path option)
Route: new coast path north of Penrhyn Castle to Aber Ogwen, coast path to Abergwyngregyn, after a Café stop, returning on the North Wales path (steep section leaving Aber) to Aber Ogwen then new coast path, as before.
Bring walking poles as the new path is uneven with tree roots in the middle section.
