Helmsley is a market town situated on the edge of the North York Moors, with a medieval castle ruins, walled garden and a bustling market square. The castle was owned by George Villars, Duke of Buckingham, during the 17th century. He was the subject of the children's nursery rhyme "Georgie Porgie Pudding and Pie, Kissed the girls and made them cry.” It’s surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the North York Moors National Park, making it an ideal base for walkers and nature lovers. It is situated on the River Rye.

It will be there for boarding from 9.00am and will depart at 9.30am
The coach leaves our finishing point at 6:00 pm to return to Newcastle
Refreshments are always available at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle
