Powburn lies at the foot of the Cheviot Hills, close to Northumberland National Park and the unspoilt Breamish Valley. The picturesque village of Ingra is nestled in the sweeping Breamish Valley with its Bronze Age settlements and moorlands. The Valley is one of the most important archaeological landscapes in the country, with Neolithic and Bronze Age settlements that are believed to be over 2500 years old.
