Overview

Barnard Castle is a market town on the north bank of the River Tees, in County Durham, England. The town is named after and built around a medieval castle ruin.
Our variety of walks will start from the south of the town around the village of Bowes and also from the town itself.

Our coach will drop parties of walkers and leaders from their starting point and all walks will finish at our destination today.
There will be a choice of walks - graded Easy, Leisurely, Moderate and Strenuous for you to choose from.
Details of the walks will be available from our webpage and will also be passed round the coach on the day.

There will be time to take refreshments at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle.

If you want to join a walk with us for the first time just eMail tyneswalk@gmail.com to book.
