Here’s our Walk Programme for Quarter 2 of 2024.
As each walk falls due we’ll publish comprehensive details in our walk notice which will appear alongside this programme on our Ramblers dedicated webpage, usually by the preceding Tuesday evening.
Subject to the walk leaders discretion our meeting point for our Sunday walks is Anglesey Street rail station car park, Hednesford WS12 1AB Staffordshire, adjacent to Hednesford Ex-serviceman’s Club midway down the street. ⚠️Please note that if our walk is local we’ll often dispense with the Hednesford rendezvous and drive direct to the start. We’ll advise accordingly within the webpage walk notice.
Sturdy footwear and waterproofs are essential. A post walk change of clothing is practical as conditions can be wet and muddy. Please bring sufficient food and drink for your day out.
Adverse Weather Protocol
Our walks take place rain or shine. However, very rarely in adverse weather, or risk thereof, we may cancel the event for everyone’s safety with travelling conditions in mind also. We shall notify any cancellation on the webpage entry for the walk affected with as much notice as possible. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE LEAVING HOME. If in any doubt contact the walk leader whose phone number is at the very top of the walk notice.
