Overview

The National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) keep a visual watch along our coastline, helping to keep all visitors to the sea and seaside safe. They are coming to talk to us at East Budleigh VH after we have had walk to the coast and returned to the Hall for a pasty supper. Choice of steak or veggie pasty, and a hot drink, £5 pay on the day, cash only. You may also like to bring extra cash to make a donation to NCI who are staffed by volunteers, replacing the watch that used to be kept by the Coastguard. Approximate times: walk at 2.30pm, pasty supper at 5.45pm, talk at 6.15pm for an hour or so. You are welcome to come to the walk and not the talk or the talk and not the walk, but please book whatever you plan to do by 31st August . Booking please to edramblerssocial@gmail.com (preferred) or 07922 651 426 by text, stating how many you are booking for and whether you want a steak or veggie pasty. See the programme for walk details.
