Walk from Newbourne to Kirton Creek via Hemley. We then walk up the southern side of Mill River alondside Sluice Farm emerging onto the Newbourne Road at Kembroke Hall. Along the road for 200m we turn left down the hill and eventually into Great Grove Wood. Crossing the Mill River we climb gently around the back of Newbourne turning left (TM 2634310) before reaching the road. This path takes us down to Newbourne Road and the Village Hall car park.
