The walk stars in Ripley Green, passes through Ripley, by the side of Papercourt Lake, via Send Marsh and on to the towpath along the River Wey. Past locks, weirs and ruins of a priory it continues back to Ripley Green. Refreshments are available in Ripley Village at the end of the walk. The walk is mostly flat but some of the tracks are uneven underfoot and may be muddy, especially after rain. As there may also be a lot of brambles and nettles, long trousers and walking boots are suggested attire.
