Walk Description
A 13.5 mile walk with 884 feet of ascent and good views. From Welton le Wold to Calcethorpe, Kelstern then towards Fotherby and returning via South Elkington.

A pleasant walk along country lanes and rural roads, passing the old airfield and the Knights Templar site. After the walk 'August Teas' available at the church.

Some quiet roads to Stixwould. Tracks, fields and woodland towards the golf course and Woodhall Spa finishing on the old railway line back to the station car park.

Leisurely 8 miles / 12.9 km
A gentle stroll of approx 8 miles in Tennyson country. From Brinkhill we head to Bag Enderby (coffee stop), then on to Somersby, Harden's Gap, South Ormsby. From here we head back to Brinkhill, where we will have a stop at the church to support the church by sampling the tea and cakes before returning to Green Lane. The walk is mainly on well established footpaths and bridleways, with a few stiles and a small amount of road walking.
Wednesday, 24 August 2022 (Group: Lincoln)
From Tealby we follow the Viking way to the Ramblers church (coffee stop) and then proceed to Normanby le Wold for lunch. After lunch we descend to Claxby and follow the route back to Walesby village before returning to Tealby.

A scenic walk around Whisby Nature Reserve followed by lunch at Lake View Café & Restaurant. If attending the lunch after the walk please arrive early enough to order your meal before the walk starts.

A 12 mile walk passing several interesting historic sites with good views of the surrounding countryside.
A pleasant walk along country lanes and rural roads passing the old airfield and the Knights Templar site. After the walk tea and cakes will be available at the church.

A moderate 10 mile walk with impressive views over the Humber. A stretch of road walking takes us through the villages of Whitton, West Halton and Coleby. We then join the ‘The Cliff’ with the River Trent below and pass through Alkborough with its medieval maze before returning to the car park.
