Hopefully a nice sunny full day out before the days get shorter. This is a mostly moderate walk with two fairly strenuous sections to be aware of. From the picturesque plague village of Eyam, we take the steady pull up to enjoy the panoramic views from the open heather moorland of Eyam Moor. After dropping down to the deep wooded valley of Bretton Clough we reach the gentle ridge walk along Hucklow Edge to reach the village of Foolow. Keith is offering to show us the little known location of the mysterious Hidden Waterfall located in the flat valley bottom near Foolow. After a quick dip (bring your bathers!) we will return along the flat fields to Eyam for a well earned refreshment.
