Easy 10 miles / 16.1 km (Estimated finish time: 15:30)
This easy walk takes the group through the outskirts of Rowney Green, also visiting the villages of Beoley & Heath Green before arriving at Hob Hill where, weather permitting, we should have fine views. From there we make our way back to Alvechurch Railway Station car park, with the possibility of a drink at the Weighbridge afterwards.

This walk begins at Ledbury, heading towards to Eastnor. We then pick up the Three Choirs Way, heading along the Malvern ridge to the Herefordshire Beacon and British Camp. After admiring the views (or perhaps the inside of a cloud), we continue to The Kettle Sings Well for some much earned refreshments. Return is via Petty France, followed by a fine view of the railway viaduct. Walk will start promptly following the arrival of the 09:57 train from Birmingham.

Circular walk around the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, starting from Hidcote House and Garden and taking in several hills and views plus the villages of Ebrington and Ilmington. Option of a coffee and ice cream stop in Ilmington.

After a short stroll up Pettiford Lane from the main car park at Yew Tree Farm, we'll amble through the beautiful Austy Wood before descending through fields and farmland to parkland surrounding Edstone Hall. After taking in the parkland we can have an early lunch. Our path then takes us through fields until we arrive at the quaint village of Langley. We'll walk on to briefly pass through Kineton village before heading back a long the Stratford Canal. There is the option of tea and cake or maybe ice cream afterwards at Yew Tree Farm cafe.

Leisurely 10 miles / 16.1 km (Estimated finish time: 15:15)
A circular walk starting from Codsall village along the Monarch's Way and around Wrottesley Old Park and Hall then heading back to Codsall along the Staffordshire Way.
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids.
Gaiters may be needed as some parts could be muddy.
Well behaved dogs welcome but there are a number of stiles along the route.
Anybody wishing to travel by train could catch the 09:30 from Birmingham New Street which arrives in Codsall at 09:57. Those who do have an option to walk up to Bakers Way Car Park to meet group or wait on the station approach as our route passes that way.

This short walk explores the history of part of the Trent Valley. It passes mediaeval earthworks, the 18th century canal, 19th and 20th century mineral workings and the 21st century National Memorial Arboretum.
We won't stop for lunch on the walk. When we arrive in the Arboretum at the end of the walk you can visit the cafe, or eat your packed lunch in the grounds. You may choose to explore the Arboretum at your leisure for the rest of the afternoon if you don't want to rush off.

Another chance to take a scenic stroll through Henley in Arden, up to the hilltop church of Preston Bagot and concluding with a peaceful stretch of the Stratford canal. And no trip to Henley would be complete without a post-walk trip to the famous ice-cream shop. A train arrives from Birmingham Moor Street at 14.05.

From Llangynidr we head up to the summit of Tor y Foel (400m climb) which offers beautiful, wide-ranging views across Talybont Reservoir, the Usk Valley and numerous peaks of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We then head down to Talybont-on-Usk where we'll have a stop for a drink before returning to the start point via a picturesque section of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal

Moderate 7 miles / 11.3 km (Estimated finish time: 14:30)
A scenic walk through history, taking in the Broseley Jitties Trail including Ding Dong Steps with an audio tour. Then heading towards Benthall Edge/Wood to walk along the River Severn with spectacular views and trees in their rich autumnal colours.
Optional hot takeaway lunch stop at Ironbridge, dine al fresco whilst marvelling at the world’s first major cast iron bridge completed end July 1779. Alternative is to bring a packed lunch and fluids. Afterwards we pick up the Iron Trail to Coalbrookdale passing some cast iron artefacts en route.
Optional visit to The Malthouse pub. Followed by free time to browse the local independent shops including an all year round Christmas shop.
Walk highlights: Visit a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and UNESCO World Heritage Centre in one day! Fancy a change to a packed lunch, well on this occasion you can with a choice of local produce from fish ‘n’ chips, pies and ice cream.

Starting from the Snailbeach once site of Shropshire’s Largest Lead mine, we will see some of the industrial remains before heading off to explore rocky outcrops on the Stiperstones. The walk includes 400m of ascent.
