This is a circular walk
From Priddy, we will follow the West Mendip Way to the west as far as the top of Batcombe Hollow above Draycott. Leaving the WMW, we will head east through Draycott Sleights and Rodney Stoke nature reserves, down to the village of Rodney Stoke. After passing through grazing grassland, on to Westbury-sub-Mendip and a climb up Lynchcombe nature reserve, to descend to the edge of Ebbor gorge, then skirting up the upper periphery to rejoin the WMW and back to Priddy. It is an easy A walk with some fine, expansive views and should not be too muddy (depending on the weather).
Give us a try!
This is one of hundreds of Ramblers group walks for all ages and abilities every week - all led by our experienced walk leaders.
You’re welcome to join us on any of our walks to see if the Ramblers is for you. Then, once you’ve enjoyed the views, fun, exhilaration and good company, it’s just a case of becoming a member.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for the walk you want to do, though. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt.
