Meet KINGS CROSS station. Train leaves at 9.34am (probably Platform 10).
Book cheapest day return to BROOKMANS PARK.
Calling at Finsbury Park, arrive 9.39am, Platform 7. WE THEN CHANGE TRAINS, and go to Platform 8. Then we catch the 9.47am train. We then call at Harringay 9.49am; Hornsey 9.51am; Alexandra Palace 9.54am; New Southgate 9.57am; Oakleigh Park 10am; New Barnet 10.03; Hadley Wood 10.06am; Potters Bar 10.09am, arriving at Brookmans Park at 10.12am, when the walk begins.
Lunch will be at THE TWO BREWERS at NORTHAW, or you can make your own arrangements.
Return trains from Hadley Wood are 20 minutes and 50 minutes past the house.
DROP-OUT POINT. There were buses from Northway to Hadley Wood and to Brookmans Park (for which you have to change at Potters Bar). You can return from Potters Bar station if you wish. The bus from Northaw goes to the railway station, and that station is covered by your day return.
