A gently undulating first half walking south from Henley via Harpsden, Shiplake Woods and Copse to pass Binfield Church, descending to Sonning Eye and the Thames, crossing to Sonning for lunch, probably at The Bull pub or picnic near the river. Hopefully time to look at the village. Easy return along the north bank of the Thames Path via Shiplake. (Drop our point at Shiplake Station after 10 miles). Continue to walk alongside Marsh Lock returning through Mill Meadows to Henley Station. Lovely views along one of the most scenic sections of the Thames Valley. Mobile on the day only 07713 025494.
Depart Paddington 8.52, change at Slough and Twyford for 9.38 to Henley-on-Thames OR Ealing Broadway 8.50, change at Twyford for same train to Henley arriving 9.50.
