Easy 5 miles / 8.1 km
Explore some of the history of Britain's greatest industrial city. The walk is approximately five miles in length through an urban environment and there will be plenty of opportunities for refeshment along the way.
Please contact me by text message as recently there have been issues with receiving e-mails via the Ramblers' website.
The walk will start from the Mark Addy pub Stanley St, Salford M3 5EJ. Arrive early for a pre-walk drink. There are numerous options for parking in the Spinning Fields area but most are expensive, costing more than £5 for the evening. However there are many public transport links into the centre of Manchester.
