About Thursday's pub stop
Convivial rural alehouse with a strong sense of community. Diners tend to favour the conservatory and large lounge while drinkers gravitate to the dog-friendly bar. Both main rooms feature solid fuel stoves. Try before you buy is offered on ales. The guest beer is from the interesting end of the Marston's portfolio. To the rear is a large, child-friendly garden, plus a separate beer garden for adults. Local eggs sold at the bar.
