A beautiful walk through the tranquil countryside between Cuddington and Waddesdon. We start at Cuddington, a winner of the Buckinghamshire's Best Kept Village Award 17 times in the last 32 years, including in 2017, and follow River Thame to Eythrope.
Eythrope forms a part of the Waddesdon Park, a Grade II Registered Park and Garden as owned by the Rothschild family, and a site of the Medieval Settlement of Eythrope. This monument is scheduled under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979 as amended as it appears to the Secretary of State to be of national importance.
After Eythrope we'll pass over rolling hills and enjoy views of the Thame Valley as we make our way back to Cuddington. After the walk we'll head to The Crown in Cuddington for post walk drinks. Please bring a packed lunch.
Meet and park at the Cuddington playing fields car park, at the end of Bernard Close. Free parking.
