Simon G’s Hastings Country Park Circular
Sunday, 24 June 2018
Start time: 10:30
(Estimated finish time: 15:45)
Moderate 8.2 miles / 13.2 km
We walk through the beautiful Hastings Country park along the undulating coastal path. We then take a long lunch break in Hastings - feel free to explore the net shops, have a meal, grab an ice cream or visit a pub. We then return via a slightly different, flatter route.
The town may be busy especially if the sun is out so you may wish to bring your own lunch.
This is a modified version of last year’s walk but is still rather hilly and steep in places especially in the first part of the walk. Bring poles if you use them. Don’t forget water if the weather is hot.
Fairlight Visitors Centre, Hastings Country Park.
NB There are several car parks - we meet by the visitor centre which is by the third of a set of three adjacent car parks along a side road south of the main road (towards the sea). There are toilets in the first car park.
Ample parking. £3.

Give us a try!
This is one of hundreds of Ramblers group walks for all ages and abilities every week - all led by our experienced walk leaders.
You’re welcome to join us on any of our walks to see if the Ramblers is for you. Then, once you’ve enjoyed the views, fun, exhilaration and good company, it’s just a case of becoming a member.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for the walk you want to do, though. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt.
