From Bramley along good paths to rejoin the Greensand Way just north of Gateshead Farm. Then through fields, woods and across Winterfield Heath with spectacular views towards the South Downs. Hilly and quite strenuous in parts. Shortly after passing Ewhurst Windmill we leave the Greensand Way and head north through Hurt Wood to the attractive village of Peaslake and on to Gomshall for the 17.50 train back to London, hopefully with time for a drink in one of the attractive riverside pubs first. Please bring a picnic and plenty of water as there is no opportunity to buy refreshments before Peaslake. Mobile on the day only: 07796 264917.
Depart Waterloo 9.00, arrive Guildford 9.33. (or 8.57 from Clapham Junction, change at Woking). We will then walk together to the Friary Bus Station to catch the No 53 bus at 10.00 to Bramley.
