Minffordd to Porthmadog
Tuesday, 18 December 2018
Start time: 10:55
Moderate 5.5 miles / 8.9 km
In a change to the published details, this will no longer be a linear walk because of revisions to the bus timetable. Instead we shall follow a circular route with plenty of opportunities for spotting birds along the Glaslyn Estuary so bird watchers may want to come armed with binoculars. From Porthmadog, we shall make our way across the lower path of the Cob towards Minfford and skirt the edges of the Portmeirion estate before returning to Porthmadog using the higher path alongside the Ffestiniog Railway. This walk should finish in plenty of time to enjoy refreshments in the town before catching a train home.
