Leisurely 8 miles / 12.9 km
A lovely amble across the wonderful atmospheric Whixall and Fenn Mosses National Nature Reserve. The walk will be along the towpath of the Llangollen branch of the Shropshire Union canal, as well as along grassy and peaty tracks. Lots of local historical and natural interest including the peat industry,military use of the Mosses and wildlife. Bring a pair of binoculars.
