Abingdon Stroll, an easy paced walk
Thursday, 7 March 2019
Start time: 10:30
Easy 3.5 miles / 5.6 km
Whether you are new to walking, want to try something different or are finding longer rambles too much then do come and join us in the Market Place, Abingdon for one of our ‘Strolls'. These walks will about 3.5 miles long and last up to 2 hours. There will be a short stop along the way for coffee and snack, and hopefully at the end we will get together somewhere, pub or café, for more filling refreshments. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the sights and chat in good company. The pace of these walks will be similar to the health walks gentle pace or easy by Ramblers grading. There will be no stiles or hills. We will be walking on some country paths. Walks may be circular returning to Abingdon or a linear walk to somewhere locally and return by bus. A regular walk on the 1st Thursday of the month. Pub stop at the end.
