All coaches pick up County Hall bus stop 9.15 am and Maid Marying Way outside Tesco at 9.30 am

A WALK - Leader: Rod Secker - 12 miles
Route: Parwich, Tissington, Bent Lane, Bradbourne, Knockerdown, Carsington Water, Brassington (pub), Ballidon, Pariwch.
Terrain: Hilly, up and down all day
B WALK - Leader: Bohdan Skrypec
Up hills . . . down dales . . . circular . . . 9.5 miles
Route: starting in Parwich. For the first two miles we cross open field sthrough Eaton Dale. We then descend an unnamed dry dale to Coldeaton Bridge joining the River Dove to Mill Dale. Here we ascent Shining Tor skirting the edge of Mill Dale for a short distance until we start to criss-cross Newton Grange CP joining the Tissington Trail at Alsop en le Dale, leaving it at Crake Low. From here it’s only a mile to a welcoming drink at the Sycamore Inn.
Terrain: Ascents: three short and one long. Descents: one long and steep. The views are excellent even in low cloud. It will be muddy and very muddy in places if it rains beforehand.
During the survey walking alongside the River Dove I saw two herons and one kingfisher. On the Tissington Trail I photographed a white pheasant which according to the RSPB was probably leucitic not an albino, the later is very rare but the former reared and released by local shoots.

Route: Parwich; Sitterlow Farm, Tissington, Railway Trail, Alsop en le Dale, Parwich.
Terrain: moderate, some hills, may be muddy
