Seven Sisters Challenge/Marathon (20+ mile options)

Group Metropolitan Walkers

Join us on "the finest walk in the South East", which today gives you a chance to try different grades of walk without fear of behind left behind. All groups will start from Eastbourne at the same time and walk the same first 10 miles to Exceat. This group will then continue over the White Horse and South Downs towards Lewes. Alternatively wait and join the other group to Seaford (see other walk). The main route is 24 miles, a drop-out will be available reducing to around 20-21 miles. Weather permitting on the day we will aim to offer a 27 mile "Seven Sisters Marathon" option. Check Walks Finder nearer the time. If you would like to help alternative routes please contact Andrew. Pub at the end. Bring a packed lunch and plenty of extra snacks.

Terrain: South Downs

Travel: Take 8:46 from London Victoria (8:53 Clapham Junction), arr. Eastbourne 10:14. Those dropping out will need a (cheap) extra single may be required from Glynde or Southease to Lewes.

(IL50) Metropolitan Walkers Group
