A walk along the Thames Estuary Path from Pitsea to Leigh on Sea along the Thames estuary and passing historic churches, Benfleet village, Hadleigh castle, Two Tree Island and WWII pillboxes. Flat walk and may be some mud!
09:43 train from Liverpool Street station (9:51 Stratford) arriving Pitsea at 10:27. Buy super off peak day return to Leigh on Sea. Potential mid-morning coffee stop and late pub lunch at Leigh on Sea at end of walk (about 2pm). Mobile on the day only: 07899 798298.
