Leisurely 7.6 miles / 12.2 km
Parking at Apuldram Church (limited space but usually enough room for a few cars). We walk on field paths and very quiet roads arounfdthe head of Fishbourne Channel of Chichester Harbour and then west across fields to Bosham (coffee break by the church). We return on the road through Bosham and east via Walton Farm to Fishbourne. We cross the main road and through the houses to Fishbourne Roman Palace - cafe stop at the Palace about 1pm. Then a short walk to Fishbourne Church and the coast path to Apuldram.
Update after recce, 24/02/19: Good underfoot although there are several places where the paths are a bit wet and soggy - boots necessary. We will have a couple of short breaks during the walk then a cafe stop at the cafe at Fishbourne Palace about 1pm. We should get good view of Brent geese and other water birds.
Small car park on side road from Apuldram. Turning for Apuldram is off A259 just west of the Chichester roundabout on the A27

This is a linear walk
A very level walk. Generally good underfoot but occasional muddy/wet sections in the fields. No stiles. A short section beside a quiet road in Bosham. Toilets: in Bosham and at Fishbourne Roman Palace
