Val's Frant Circular
Sunday, 17 February 2019
Start time: 10:30
(Estimated finish time: 16:00)
Moderate 9 miles / 14.5 km
A moderate undulating walk starting from The Green in Frant through the Abergavenny Deer Park and taking in parts of the Tunbridge Wells Circular and Sussex Border Path. We will stop for lunch 2/3 of the way round. A packed lunch is recommended as the pub is fully booked. Breakfast (and toilets!) are available at the George Inn in Frant high street before the walk starts. Please allow time for parking which is on the roads around the green.
PLEASE NOTE that large sections of the walk are very muddy (especially the first half) which makes an otherwise moderate walk rather more challenging. Waterproof footwear is absolutely necessary and walking poles would be nice too if you own a pair.
Meet by the cricket pavillion on the green in Frant Village.
